Functions

Upazila administration maintains the overall law and order in the upazila. Apart from law and order, and consultation and implementation of the important areas of the upazila.

 

Functions of the upazila administration

- Agricultural / Non-agricultural Khas Land settlement, periphery hat-market consolidation settlement and applicable land related issues.
- Project implementation program (TR, Kavita, Kabita and relief material), allocated by the Ministry of Defense.
Projects adopted and implemented by the LGED, applicable to the Contractor's Bill / Project Committee President's Bill.
-Hat-market annual lease.
-Germany lease payments.
- Payroll bills of non-government colleges, high schools and madrasas, who have been appointed as the president and various administrative functions of the educational institution.
- Chairman, members of the European Council, paying honorarium to the public shareholders of the members and salary allowance to the secretary and village police.
Distribution of various donations by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Education, District Council, Organization / Division.
-Genregal certificate case.
-Mobile court management and send report return.
- Distribution and counseling of Hajj festivals.
- Provide services related to the advice, information and work related to the local government (union council).
- Duties of the chairman of different committees
- Bicycling / Subsidy Fertilizer Report
-Cancellation and child abuse prevention cell committee

- Strengthening social and cultural activities.
- Letter communication between union council.
- Support for relief work during natural disaster, famine and epidemic.
- Providing necessary assistance to protect law and order.
- Serving as a supportive force of official activities.
- Monitoring of development and administrative work at upazila level.
- Coordinating responsibilities with the divisional officers.
- Implementation of all the policies of the Ministry at the field level.
